Nadat ik Wouter Bos bij Pauw & Witteman gisteravond met grote stelligheid hoorde beweren hoe het in andere landen, zoals in de USA, zit met een dubbele nationaliteit, toch maar eens gekeken wat het Amerikaanse standpunt is:
"Nonetheless, official U.S. policy has been to discourage the incidence of dual nationality. The Government accepts but does not recognize or approve of dual nationality. The Government accepts it: "only as the result of separate conflicting laws of other countries." " Ik denk dus dat noch Albayrak noch Aboutaleb in de Verenigde Staten onderminister zouden kunnen worden.
