Ariel

In een artikel in de "International New York Times" van vandaag over Ariel Rechtshaid:
"That includes records from Cass McCombs, a Northern California post-hippie singer-songwriter, and Justin Bieber. There's "Reincarnated" from Snoop Lion - the reggae makeover of Snoop Dogg - and "Climax", a cinematic, cleverly teasing single by the R&B singer Usher. A complex, fiddly record of postmodern pop values by Vampire Weekend and a clear, ebullient album of retrogade ones by Haim, crossing the sound of the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac with early Madonna. And finally, a gloriously wrong-sounding album by Sky Ferreira, "Night Time, My Time", which in its dense rush suggests shades of Phil Spector, 70's art-rock and 80's girl-pop and probably deserves its own grammy."
